Phil’s work as a keyboardist, songwriter, record producer and music publisher has resulted in success on the Billboard Pop, R&B and Dance charts (Tantrum, Shawn Christoper, J.M. SIlk, Jaimie Principle), in national advertising campaigns and television shows (Pepsi, Wrigley, Zenith, MDA Telethon, StarSearch) and documentary film soundtracks ("Harold Washington - The Life And Times").  In 2014 Phil launched the original Swing Forward band. The band’s first album “Ain’t It Fun” was released on Toucan Cove Records with two tunes appearing on the "Very Ballroom 2" dance compilation.  Phil is ecstatic to be working with the newest Swing Forward lineup!

...swinging the hits!

Evan began performing professionally as a vocalist and guitarist as a teenager, and has jammed his way across North America, performing in jazz clubs in Kansas City, Mexico City, and Toronto before moving to Chicago in 2006. Evan's vocal delivery and guitar licks bridge the gap between his traditional jazz influences and the high energy sounds of contemporary American popular music. Like his band mates, Evan enjoys performing a wide range of music and songs, mining gems from a century of American blues, jazz and pop.

Gil began playing drums at age 11 and studied under LA session drummer Carl Moss, playing around Southern California with various bands, often with his late brother Joe Cadrecha, himself an LA session guitarist. After moving to the Chicago land area, his music took a backseat during a 26 year law enforcement career. Now, Gil focuses on music full time, having played with bands Tiger Moon, The Damen North Jazz Ensemble, Oakley Station, The Vibetonez and as an on-call drummer. He's also done session work for John Hegner at Starbelll Hatchery Recording Studios for NYC singer-songwriters Chris Belden (Camouflage) and Charlie Lang (Free).  He is currently the staff Music Director for Living Grace Community Church in Cary, IL.  Gil says Swing Forward is the most exciting project he's been a part of thus far.
